Opportunity to share the vision!

Wiconi International worked with the Comanche Tribal Youth Program to hold a Young Warriors Basketball Camp at Cameron University here in Lawton. It was a great camp where they incorporated the Gospel into the basketball camp. Three times a day the schedule included "Wiconi Time" (wiconi means life). For example during the basketball time there were teaching about zones, which is positioning yourself in the best place where you could work as a team to get the job done and then during the Wiconi time Richard shared about how we need to position ourselves in the right spot in life, depending on how you position yourself in life determines weather we will be successful in our journey. Lining up with Jesus will always lead to success.

With Richard scheduled to be in Lawton just three months prior to the MN1V Pastor Barnes invited him to share at the First Assembly of God Church Wednesday evening. You may recall this is the church that has donated their facility for the MN1V in September. Richard’s message was missio Dei, which is the "mission of God." The basic message is in the beginning the trinity represents divine unity in diversity. The trinity being three in one, all with different functions, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God has created each of us with different functions and gifting but in order for us to functions together as one. It has been God’s mission from the beginning to bring us together in unity in the mist of our diversity. He created us in His image, that image is unity in the midst of diversity.
