Terry is of mixed Mi’kmaq/Acadian extraction, his family originating in Restigouche, PQ and Campbellton, NB, Canada. Having a firm sense of his roots in both communities allows him to communicate across an often-difficult cultural divide.

He is currently the Co-manager for Aboriginal programs for World Vision Canada as well as Director for Aboriginal Partnerships with My People International.

Terry’s ministry has included 15 years with Youth For Christ, as well as six years as pastor of a rural congregation. In addition, Terry has taught as a sessional lecturer at the Canadian Bible College and Seminary; as a guest lecturer at McMaster Divinity School; and, in guest lectures at other educational institutions across Canada and the US.
